Exceptional Olive Oil extraction process

To ensure the top quality of our extracted olive oil, but also for the best and most complete service of the olive growers, ORFEAS Olive Mill invests in modern technological equipment and in the quality of world leading company PIERALISI.
The olives are initially channelled into 2 separators and 12 malaxators for pressing and malaxation expediently and under ideal temperature conditions, which ensure the preservation of their valuable ingredients. After this procedure, the olive paste will be guided to the 2 decanters, which will provide us, through the innovative centrifugation, with the extracted pure olive oil, free from any solid elements and without any further and unnecessary transfers that could degrade its quality, purity and taste.
The extraction process is followed by two options, according to the needs of each producer. The first option is the standardisation and bottling of the olive oil, according to the given instructions, while the second option involves the use of one of the 6 specialised stainless-steel tanks, with a capacity of 5-15 tons each, for the safe storage of the extracted olive oil.Ο μεταφερόμενος προς επεξεργασία καρπός θα συναντήσει κατά τη διαδικασία 2 διαχωριστήρες και 12 μαλακτήρες για την έκθλιψη και μάλαξη του καρπού σε σύντομο χρονικό διάστημα και κάτω από ιδανικές συνθήκες θερμοκρασίας, που διασφαλίζουν τα πολύτιμα συστατικά του ελαιόλαδου, ενώ ακολούθως θα διοχετευθεί στα 2 decanter, τα οποία θα προσφέρουν την καινοτόμο φυγοκέντρηση και την άμεση εξαγωγή του καθαρού ελαιολάδου, απαλλαγμένου από τα στερεά στοιχεία της ελιάς και χωρίς περαιτέρω μεταφορές που θα μπορούσαν να φθείρουν την ποιότητα, την καθαρότητα και τη γεύση του.
Την εξαγωγή ακολουθούν δύο επιλογές, σύμφωνα με τις ανάγκες του κάθε παραγωγού. Η πρώτη επιλογή είναι η τυποποίηση και η συσκευασία του ελαιόλαδου, σύμφωνα με τις εκάστοτε ρηθείσες οδηγίες, ενώ η δεύτερη περιλαμβάνει τη χρήση κάποιας εκ των 3 εξειδικευμένων και ανοξείδωτων δεξαμενών, χωρητικότητα 15 τόνων η κάθε μία, για την ασφαλή αποθήκευση και φύλαξη του ελαιολάδου.
